Welcome

As you can see from the description to the right, this is basically my blog about me, my cars, and my adventures at the track. Well, to me they are adventures. To you, it might seem a bit tame… or obsessive, maybe even boring. But, I am having fun with it and through this blog, I hope that I can inspire others to get out there and have fun.

The Archives listed to the right show all my previous posts. They are in reverse order with the newest listed on top. If you want to start from the beginning, simply click on the More… link in the Archive sidebar and you will get a list of all my posts… not that anybody would want to read from the beginning.

Most of the pictures are clickable. Click on them, and you will be taken to my Flickr photo sharing site where you can get higher resolution images.

Enjoy,
Eric

Live For Speed

Live For Speed is an online racing simulator (I know, it is really just a game, but we prefer to call it a simulator :lalala: ).

LFS, as it is known, is developed by a small team based in Europe. It is a private enterprise and so they do what makes them happy. It has lead to the development of, in my opinion, the best racing simulator out there. The physics are impressive. The cars behave very realistically. The community is great and the online racing is very good.

When I say “online” racing, I mean being connected to the internet and racing real time against other real people from all over the world.

dp Cars

This is Dennis Palatov's site. Dennis' blog is one of the things that inspired me to get off the couch and get out on the track. Dennis is an Engineer and mostly does consultant work. He is also a car nut. He has built several cars using kits, usually with major modifications. He has also designed his own car from the ground up. It is a very unique car that is primarily designed for track days. dp1
